The SMBI Forum

A private, moderated forum for the four islands — the place to ask, offer and find things with your neighbours. It isn’t open yet. Join the list and you’ll be among the first in.

What it will be

  • Islanders only

For residents of Russell, Macleay, Lamb and Karragarra, businesses and groups based on the islands, and the people who represent the islands.

  • Every post checked

Posts are read before they go up, so the Forum stays useful and friendly.

  • You choose what shows

Show your name with your street, or just your island, on each post.

  • Island life, in one place

Lost and found, help wanted, recommendations, things to give away or sell, and what is happening on your island.

Type your number and street, then tap your address.

Can’t find it? Try just the street name, or contact us.

Not on the islands? The Forum is only for island residents, island businesses and the people who represent the islands. Businesses from off the islands can still reach islanders with a paid ad — ask about advertising.

Addresses are only used to check that you live or run your business on the islands. They are never shown to anyone. We’ll only use your email to tell you when the Forum opens.
